Darrell Scott
Darrell Scott is a powerful musical spirit. A Grammy-nominated artist, an award-winning songwriter, and a first-call session musician, living and working (literally and figuratively) on the fringes of Nashville’s Music Row, Scott occupies his own unique half-acre in this city’s crowded musical landscape. In a town that’s got pigeonholing down to an art, Darrell Scott stands out as a refreshingly mischievous artist.
Opening for Darrell Scott is FIVER BROWN
A young artist from the Bay Area that brings to the stage a keen mix of blues, Americana and jazz.
Fiver will keep you entertained with his soulful voice and lyrics about life's continual fascination of love’s strong hold on the heart and mind.
Peter Rowan
Considered a cult figure among current and progressive bluegrass fans, Rowan has indulged in, led or participated in a vast and impressive array of bands, musical collaborations, studio recordings, tours, workshops and festivals since breaking onto the scene in 1964 as guitarist and lead singer with Bill Monroe. Peter is a one of a kind singer with an astonishing vocal range and an instantly recognizable voice.
Opening for Peter Rowan is PETE KARTSOUNES
A Colorado favorite singer/songwriter is as eccentric as he is original in his soulful expressions. The day after the show Pete is going to walk the Colorado Trail to raise money for kids with cancer ~ www.hikeforcancer.com! Thanks Pete!
Tim O’Brien
Tim O’Brien is an American bluegrass musician. In addition to singing, he plays guitar, fiddle, mandolin, bouzouki and mandocello. At this point in his career, nearly 30 years after moving to Colorado where he would form his landmark band Hot Rize, repertoire is a major part of the Tim O'Brien story. For in addition to his own prolific and successful songwriting, this child of West Virginia and the WWVA Jamboree has never stopped mining the American music canon for great material. He is a song sponge. Songs collect and abide in Tim O'Brien s world as comfortably as family heirlooms. They find expression in O'Brien’s clear-as-ice voice and his relationship with songs embodies the very essence of the folk music tradition, always aware that the branches of the musical tree need sap from the roots.
Opening for Tim O’Brien is AVERY AUGUR
Ahhh what more do we need to say! A local favorite and a very talented musician making his way with his Banjo!
